The annual singing show by students of Mrs. Heenaben, held under the banner of ‘Swar Gunjan’ took place recently at the banquet hall of Y.B. Chavan Auditorium in Mumbai. Each of the students, ranging from 25 to 80 years, sang a solo number, one after the other, without the programme being interrupted by a speech or break. The song selections were highly appreciated and kept the audience entertained. Later, their teacher and guru, Mrs. Heenaben herself enthralled the audience with few of her perfect numbers, and set a new benchmark for her students!
The audience consisted of a few Invitees from the PSK Committee like Smt. Satyavatiben, Shri Bharatbhai Mehta, Shri Sunil Jhaveri, and others,as well as family members and friends of the 38 participants.
The size of the audience has also been increasing over the years. It was widely felt that there was remarkable progress in the quality of the performances as compared to the earlier years as a result of the expert training the students have been receiving. Smt. Satyavatiben also gave a short speech congratulating both the students and Heenaben.
