Nirali Ajit Singh, daughter of Late Navinbhai Laherchand Shah and Padma Navin Shah, (Mumbai) has been named the 2025–2026 Elementary Teacher of the Year by the Palm Beach County Council for Teachers of Mathematics. She resides in the state of Florida, USA and has become the first educator of Indian origin to receive this distinction.
This is also the first time that her school, Del Prado Elementary School in Florida, has received this recognition in the 15+ year history of this award.
