Charuben Mehta Honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at ET Women's Conclave

Smt Charuben Kishorbhai Mehta, Chairperson of Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the ET Women Conclave 2026 held recently in Mumbai.

Smt Charuben is known for her visionary leadership in healthcare and continued support to community welfare initiatives. She remains deeply connected to her roots in Palanpur and the community.

In a message shared on the occasion, Ms Mehta said that Lilavati Hospital was born from a shared dream of her father in law Kirtilal Manilal Mehta and her husband Kishore Kirtilal Mehta. They wanted to build a hospital that would not just to excel with clinical expertise, but also display compassion, dignity and respect for every human life.

She added that the institution has been nurtured by the family with deep conviction from its very inception along with support from the doctors, staff, nurses and technicians. “Dedication and empathy are the soul of Lilavati Hospital, where innovation serves humanity, and healing is not measured only in outcomes but in being delivered with a human touch to restore dignity,” she stated.

Ms Mehta said that for her it is a matter of pride that the next generation has now come forward and taken on the responsibility of expanding the institution, while remaining rooted in the spirit of its founding vision.
