Pranav Mistry Appointed Cybersecurity Advisor for NFSU under the Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI

Pranav Mistry, an alumnus of Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur has recently taken on an additional role as Cybersecurity Advisor for the National Forensic Sciences (NFSU), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India.

Announcing his prestigious new position on LinkedIn, Mistry said, “It is my utmost privilege to contribute to our nation’s mission of securing our borders and critical digital infrastructure through cybersecurity and AI.”

The National Forensic Sciences University (erstwhile Gujarat Forensic Sciences University) is an "Institution of National Importance" established under the aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Its objective is to promote forensic science in conjunction with applied behavioural science, law, criminology, and other allied areas and technologies.

In April, Mistry, CEO of TWO AI, addressed the All India Forensic Science Summit (AIFSS) 2025, hosted by NFSU and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India on the transformative role of AI in strengthening India’s cybersecurity.

Mistry, who was formerly with Samsung, launched his own AI start up TWO AI a few years ago. The initiative is focused on artificial intelligence solutions for non-English markets through its proprietary multilingual and cost-efficient language models, SUTRA, along with enterprise AI solutions and services.

The Economic Times, which recently featured Pranav Mistry and TWO AI reported, “Backed by a $20-million seed fund from Jio Platforms (a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, publishers of Forbes India) and South Korean internet conglomerate Naver, TWO AI’s ChatSutra has 1.5 million users in multiple languages, including Gujarati, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.”

Mistry’s latest achievements were also recently featured in Forbes India and Forbes Korea.
