Satish Nanalal Mehta has been elected to the Executive Committee (EC) of the Federation of Associations of Maharashtra (FAM) for 2023-25. He is one of the 30+ members of the EC. Satish, along with a few other committee members will be leading the work related to the Press & Media portfolio.
 

The body, set up in 1979 has about 700 associations (mainly related to trade and business) under its umbrella as well as individual patron members. FAM says it is committed to “support the mission of recharging our nation and accelerating the pace of economic reforms”.
 

Satishbhai, who is Hon Secretary / Trustee of Shree Palanpur Sthanakvasi Jain Association, and has actively worked for getting the community members medical benefits and discounts from various reputed hospitals in South Mumbai, had been associated as a Patron Member with FAM for over decade. He also is actively involved with Palanpur Online.
 

He is also involved with activities of different trade bodies for many years, having been part of a GJEPC delegation to promote diamond and jewellery trade with Russia, Azerbaijaan, Serbia in 2008. He has also been President of BJP Vyapari cell of Ward No. 215 for three years, and later President of BJP Vyapari cell, Malabar Hill Vidhansabha (which consists of 5 wards). Satishbhai is currently also actively working on local neighbourhood issues in the Malabar Hill area and is also Treasurer of BJP Malabar Hill Vidhansabha area.
