Dipu Dilip Mehta, MD & CEO of Orra Fine Jewellery was named the winner in the “Most Disruptive Innovator MD of the Year” category at the Retail Jeweller MD & CEO Awards 2022 for Excellence in Leadership held recently in Mumbai.
 

The event, organized by Retail Jeweller, and powered by Achal Jewels & SGL LABS, honoured top performing CEOs and MDs from the Indian jewellery industry across many different categories. In addition to Mehta, a number of other high profile jewellers and industry leaders were felicitated.

While announcing the award for Dipu Mehta the organisers made special mention of the launch of Divaa by Orra Jewellery, a jewellery brand that uses lab-grown diamonds or manmade diamonds and caters to the emerging needs of a “young, fashion-seeking audience” in India. 

Speaking at the Awards Nite, Mehta thanked his team and family for “letting me dream the way I wanted to dream, and then making them a reality”.
