Sanjay A. Kothari has recently been elected as Managing Trustee of the Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF) for a three-year term from 2023-26. The Board of Trustees, which will be headed by newly elected Chairman Praveen Shankar Pandya, includes a number of other diamantaires of the community from Banaskantha.
 

The community members on the board are: Arun C. Shah who is also Jt Managing Trustee, Sailesh S. Mehta who is Jt Treasurer and Ashish K. Mehta, Ashok K. Bhansali, Jitendra K. Bhansali, Ramniklal P. Shah, Vijay B. Shah and Vikram M. Mehta. Suresh C. Shah and Bakul R. Mehta have been co-opted as a Special Invitees to the Board with a term of one year.

The Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF) was set up in 1999, primarily to spearhead co-ordinated relief and rehabilitation efforts by the gem and jewellery industry during periods of national crisis and social calamities in India.
