Veer A. Mehta, a nine-year old student of Hillspring International School has recently released his first fiction novel, ‘Halloween Camp’. The book has been self-published through White Falcon Publishing and is being sold through various online stores. Veer is the son of Chitika and Ankit Dilip Mehta of D Navinchandra.
 

This novel tells the story of an adventurous and thrilling experience had by three brothers who set out for camp. Little did they know, that along the way, there were many surprises in store for them. Who knew a forest could have mythical creatures, a villain, and a magical town of elves? The reader can accompany these brothers on their journey and see what happens next...
 

The young author Veer says, “Ever since I was six-years old I have had a deep passion for reading mystery and adventure novels. These captivating stories sparked my imagination and fostered my desire to become a creative writer.”
 

In addition to writing, Veer is passionate about percussion instruments such as djembe and cajon, and is currently honing his skills in playing the drums, with regular practice. He also has his own YouTube channel ‘Extreme Drumming’. Veer is also a talented table tennis player and is actively involved in coaching. He has won numerous medals in English and Maths Olympiad exams and is now learning to code Arduino using Java as well as building robots using various bricks, motors and sensors along with the Lego EV3 Kit.
 

Veer is thankful to those who have supported him in this first novel. “I have received encouragement and inspiration from my parents, as well as home room and school teachers,” he states.
