The annual prize distribution ceremony of Palanpur Samaj Kendra’s sports activities for 2017-18 was held at Police Gymkhana on 20th January 2019. Winners of the different events and the sponsors were felicitated at the long-awaited event.
 

This year, the Chief Guest was a very distinguished sports personality – the community’s very own Arjuna awardee, Snooker and Billiards champion Aditya Mehta. A very soft-spoken person with a very clear vision, Aditya Mehta congratulated all those who had made their mark on the sports field during the year and acknowledged the community for its humbleness!

In addition to the prize winners of the different competitions conducted by the PSK Sports Committee during the year, the cricket team that emerged as champions at the recently held 23rd Banas Cup were also given trophies.

Senior committee members spoke and encouraged the parents and the participants to continue to excel in the various disciplines. 

The Sports Committee expressed the hope that the number of participants in sporting events would increase each year. 

The function ended with the national anthem.
